Marmoreal Tomb Kickstarter Update

Greetings from the Dens!
Yesterday, Benoist turned over the Marmoreal Tomb Manuscript and the five maps that go with it. I've had only a brief moment to go over what he sent, but it is amazing. The maps are through the roof and the text is ready for editing. I've chosen the editor we want to work on this manuscript (Mac Golden, co-creator of Castles & Crusades), but he has to agree first. Once he does, it immediately moves to editing. Once editing has begun we'll begin gathering the art. The primary artist (I believe this to be the case) is Mark Allen. I've worked with Mark a number of times and he's a great guy (his art hangs on my office wall and he is the creator of my favorite avatar for the Troll Lord).
Tim Burns (our comms guy) has backer kit set up and ready to go. Not sure when we will open that up, but in the next month or so. You can increase pledges there, pick up items you may have missed.
Now, there is still a long way to go to get through these stretch rewards, BUT the plan at the moment is to get the primary manuscript, the Tomb itself, completed and in your hands as soon as possible! After that, we'll refocus on individual stretch rewards.
QUICK NOTE: We have an ongoing Kickstarter, James M. Ward's Starship Warden. This is the Warden presented to the gaming world as James M. Ward himself envisions it! Check it out!
Hope you all are having a wonderful new year! May the decade be filled with health and prosperity!

Update from Troll Lord Games

Greetings from the Dens! This is Tim coming at you this time from Troll Lord Games.
We hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, we ate ourselves silly for a few days and then got back to work. I wanted to bring you up to date on what we've been doing. While Benoist continues to hammer out pieces and Steve works on organizing it all, I've been working on the BackerKit for the Kickstarter.
For those of you who are not familiar, BackerKit is a fulfillment company that we have used many times before in our own post Kickstarters. It just has more tools than Kickstarter does, and for a Kickstarter as large as Marmoreal, that is a very good thing. We don't use everything from there, we do our own shipping and we usually send our PDF rewards via DrivethruRPG, but it is great for getting out surveys and even better for organization.
Because this Kickstarter has so many moving parts and given the fact that we came into this after the fact, it's becoming vital as a record to keep track of all that you are owed and where we stand at any given moment in fulfillment. So what I've been doing is going through the Kickstarter bit by bit, word by word and putting each and everything that was offered as a pledge level, an add on, or a stretch reward, in there. It is a time consuming process and tedious, but it should hopefully give us a much better picture of what is still needed. I *think* I have almost everything entered. I will have Steve, myself, and Benoist and Ernie go over it before we send it off to you. I still need to get in shipping prices in, but need to get some weights on things that we do not have yet, so that will take a bit of figuring.
Some of you have rewards that needed input from you; the survey should have those questions in them, though in some cases, I might send out an email to your prior to the survey being sent out to make sure we have them sooner.
If you have questions about this or anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me directly at [email protected]. I'm happy to help with anything I can, just no more turkey leftovers please. :-)
